Pittsburgh Modular is gearing up for winter with updated and expandable synthesizers, a feature packed new midi module, and a beautiful redesign to our most popular cases. 

UPDATED AND EXPANDABLE SYNTHESIZERS

SYSTEM 10.1 and SYSTEM 10.1+

MASSIVELY SMALL MODULAR SYNTHESIZER

Our amazing semi-modular sound lab, the System 10 has been updated to include the new feature packed Midi 3 module. The Midi 3 adds a complete set of mono and duophonic midi response modes, assignable CC and dedicated velocity outputs, a feature rich clock source with tap tempo, midi and external gate clock dividers, and multiple arpeggiator responses to an already full set of features. The Synthesizer Box remains at the heart of the instrument. A semi-modular synthesizer voice module featuring a unique set of modulatable waveforms, a rich lopass gate filter, and a tight envelope continues to define the sound of the synthesizer. STRECHING SMALL TO THE LIMITS

The Pittsburgh Modular System 10.1+ is an expandable version of the System 10.1. Housed in our larger Cell[90] desktop case, the System 10.1+ synthesizer includes all the same modules as the System 10.1 but with the extra space to grow. The extra space allows for an additional 42hp of Pittsburgh Modular or other eurorack compatible modules to be added to the synthesizer. SOUND IS WHAT MATTERS

The System 10.1 and System 10.1+ offer direct access to a wide array of modern, analog monosynth sounds. Without a single patch cable, earth shaking bass and aggressive, arpeggiated leads are just a few knob tweaks away. A STUNNING CREATURE

Housed in our beautiful new Move[104] Black road case and controlled with the feature packed Midi 3 module, the Foundation 3.1 Synthesizer is the continuing evolution of a classic. The Foundation 3.1 is assembled one at a time in Pittsburgh, PA using handbuilt components to ensure every one sounds incredible. The core of the Foundation 3.1 remains the same, two huge Waveforms oscillators driving a pair of filters that are dripping with character. A BIGGER DRAGON

The Foundation 3.1+ Synthesizer is an expandable version of the Foundation 3.1. Housed in our larger Move[208] desktop case, the Foundation 3.1+ has room to grow. The additional space allows a nearly infinite number of expansion options. The included black plastic blank panel can be easily trimmed as new modules are added to keep the case looking clean. FULL OF FIRE

A standalone, fully modular synthesizer styled after the great monosynths of the past with no hardwired signal path or fixed voice architecture to restrict creativity. The Pittsburgh Modular Move [104] Black is a beautiful, fully featured, roadworthy eurorack case and power supply designed to safely house and power up to 104hp of eurorack modules. Handbuilt in Pittsburgh, PA using select Ukrainian Birch Ply, the Move [104] Black case celebrates the classic pairing of synthesizers with beautiful hardwood. Each case has been constructed and stained by our craftsmen to emphasize it's unique beauty. MOVE [104] LIMITED

The Pittsburgh Modular Move [104] Limited cases are an experiment in color and wood. The case and power specs are identical to the Move [104] Black we just decided to expand the visual palette. The Limited cases are available in an ever changing array of finishes meant to accentuate the grain of the hardwood resulting in a uniquely beautiful, fully featured, eurorack case. The first batch of Move [104] Limited cases are stained deep red and paired with a set of all black hardware. EVERYTHING TOGETHER

The Move [104] Black and Limited cases includes a removable lid. The lid fits over the patch cables allowing a fully patched modular to hit the road. Powered with the Pittsburgh Modular Power Rail supplying +12v/-12v/+5v power, the Move[104] is designed for maximum compatibility with all Pittsburgh Modular and other brand eurorack compatible modules.

MOVE [208] BLACK and MOVE [208] LIMITED

MOVE [208] BLACK

The Pittsburgh Modular Move [208] Black and Move [208] Limited double row eurorack cases and power supply featuring the same stunning woodwork as the single row Move [104] Black. The Move[208] Black and Limited power supply has been redesigned around a robust, universal DC power adapter allowing the power supply of the Move [208] to provide more power to the case. The universal DC supply also allows us to ship the Move [208] worldwide.
